Irvine, CA August 16, 2012
Destination Irvine has acquired the expertise of four local bloggers to contribute to the organization?s blog destinationirvine.com/blog in an effort to further educate visitors about the destination and what it has to offer.
The bloggers post on a regular basis each focusing on an activity, event or topic that is of particular interest to them. Topics include family activities, dining, outdoor recreation, arts and culture, shopping and more.
The Bloggers
Ellen Bell writes the local travel blog, SoCal Day Tripper, and during baseball season, ?The Afternoon Angel,? the fan blog on the OCRegister.com sports page. She is also the author of ?Irvine: Images of America.? Sharlene Earnshaw is the blog editor for Trekaroo, a travel website dedicated to helping families travel with kids. Amanda Nguyen divulges her fashion, food, & DIY endeavors, experiences, and inspirations through her personal lifestyle blog feast.fashion.faves; and Terry Winkler contributes to OCFamily.com.
?The bloggers lend their expertise and provide visitors with valuable insider perspectives on everything from restaurants and attractions to events,? said Wendy Haase, Director of Tourism Marketing, Destination Irvine. ?Visitors are, hopefully, enticed by the bloggers? enthusiasm for Irvine and will want to enjoy similar experiences.?
